Eames Tandem Sling Airport Chair

I'm sorry it's been so long. Working on the real house has taken priority over the mini houses. I'm hoping to find some time this summer to start unpacking and get back to mini life.

I forgot that I never posted about this chair before. A few years ago a woman reached out to me for a custom order of an airport chair. Once a week her son flew to grad school, slept at the airport, spent all day in classes, then flew home to work his full-time job. As a graduation present she wanted a miniature airport chair replica to commemorate his strenuous year. I made this
Eames Tandem Sling Airport Chair for her. He loved it and uses it as a business card holder.

In other news... I'm finally starting to update my big house blog. Here is the
before & in progress Master Bedroom of my real house, more pics at My So Called Eichler.
